Friday, March 22, 2013. He waits for me in the shadows. And beckons me to meet him. In the sweetest of dreams. He is the lover that I have yet to know. I cannot touch him but I feel him every day. As the traffic moves from lane to lane. I hear my name in a whisper. And I listen hard for that familiar sound. I think of him everytime I open a door or turn a page. Knowing one day I will feel his lips brush against mine. My search feels empty at times.

Musings on life, faith and family, especially ours as we seek a life in full time ministry. We seem to love the idea of a person being able to put on a mask and costume and save the world. Seemingly ordinary people doing amazing things under some assumed identity. It gives us hope that maybe WE are capable of achieving and doing great things. Working TOGETHER as a Community of Learners. These last few weeks have been nothing short of blur! June in an Elementary school is quite the experience. The grass is green, the sun is shining and these children are just plain old EXCITED! You will never do anything in this world without courage. It is the greatest quality of the mind next to honor. Reflecting back and looking ahead.

The WISP consortium is a BBSRC funded collaborative programme bringing together experts in wheat genetics and breeding from five institutions. WISP is a comprehensive pre-breeding programme - the first of its kind in over 20 years - aiming to guarantee the sustainability of wheat production against the background of growing global population and changing environment.
